LINDSEY MARIE HARRIS
On May 23, 2005 a pair of
severed human legs was found along I-55 south of
Springfield, Illinois leaving investigators searching for
answers. It would take three years and a DNA match to
provide at least some of the answers investigators were
looking for. In May of 2008, DNA would confirm that the legs
belonged to missing Henderson, Nevada woman Lindsay Marie
Harris. Lindsay had been reported missing on May 7,
2005.
Harris is one of four women who
were working as escorts in and around the Las Vegas area who
share common traits in their appearances and lifestyles and
who have disappeared. Three of them share the middle name
"Marie". Tragically, three of the women have been found
murdered with only partial remains of their bodies
recovered.
In March of 2003 the
torso of Misty Marie Saens was recovered off State Route 159
near State Route 160 just west of Las Vegas. Then in August
of 2003 the torso of Jodi Marie Brewer was recovered off
Cima Road and I-15 in San Bernardino County, CA. On April 9
Jessica Foster was reported missing in Las Vegas and as of
March 2009, has yet to be located. A picture of each of

Detective Larry
Hanna of the Las Vegas Metro Police Department believes that
it is vital to identify other possible victims and has asked
law enforcement agencies everywhere to check their files for
cases that are similar. Because the bodies have been found
in locations stretching across the country, Detective Hanna
believes that cooperation and open communication between
agencies is absolutely critical in resolving these cases and
also in identifying other possible victims. The similarities
in the cases are such that Detective Hanna believes they
merit being alert to the possibility that these cases may be
connected and he is now actively assisting in disseminating
and coordinating information for these cases. Detective
